How to Re-Groove Your Skid Steer Tires
Using the right tool for the job, you can make your skid steer tires like new again, many of them wear out in the center faster than the lugs on the outside, doing this will give you the added traction you need. it is time consuming but anything worth doing is worth doing right!

Here’s an idea. Buy another set
@spleno1 no…..most skid steers have solid rubber tires, not air filled like cars
ummm, ya do know they sell tire groovers, lot less time consuming, lot cheaper (than paying for bits and power to run the compressor for 8 hours) i have grooved alot of tires for mudding, about 30 mins apiece, depending on how many cuts need to be done
I bet that guy was hating life while doing that.. burning that much rubber and breathing it in, even through a respirator is killer! HAHAHA!!!
or dont be cheap and buy new tires lol although this does work
copy and paste this to 10 videos or your mum will die within the next 4 hours…..
This is a bad idear… If u go too far in you ruine the tire…?
@bigpoppabrian1129, a groover would be the idle…..he would just have to use bigger blades, @08grizzlt450, if your not able to get one well don’t stop what your using, the job is going perfect
Make sure to breathe in all of the smoke while you’re doing this
looks like a long messy day to me. Buy a groover!
what kind of end did u used to cut the tire??
a 1/2″ hole saw works good too
it will but swampers are no way near that thick nor that hard of a compound try it but do it slowly hint practice on a junk tire it doesnt matter have a great holiday
will that work for super swampers?
