Sounds like YOU have never been in the seat of anything else.
Over 40 yrs in this business, I AM an expert -I’ve been in EVERYTHING else, Doris- and if it’s awkward it’s because YOU have no experience in one! Oh Yeah, if you would watch the video you would see the big equipment is already on site! Go ahead and buy Chinese/Walmart equipment… sell out the USA, where Bobcat is made. They invented the skid steer. I’ve driven them at -40 below in Alaska, frozen solid..
@sakmakawkbiotch Oh yes, it makes so much sense to bring out a larger machine to spend 5x the operating and 10x the ownership costs. Everybody’s a feckin’ expert. 8-/
I had the misfortune of getting stuck with a brand-new Bobcat for a backfill a couple months ago. Sure, an improvement over the older Bobcats, but still pretty awkward and underpowered. Come to think of it, the only guys I’ve heard brag up Bobcat have never been in the seat of anything else.
That’d be about one pass with a 450 cat or 580 backhoe to move same pile in approx 1.45 seconds- and you won’t get yer kidneys busted. That Taco-ouchie gutted out big time when he hit that pile…better get a Bobcat. Also, try the float position instead, when doing that back-blading to get a smoother run and no kidney-busting hump at begining.

That is a efficient operator. Good thinking picking up and moving material and nice back dragging.
They have joystick controls similar to the CAT machines.

what are the control options?
thats not a skid steer its a compant track loader
our L785 new holland with grouser tracks over rubber could keep up and it only has a 52 hp ford engine
what are the rateings for this thing
Yeah they have a yanmar, around 95 hp. We just bought one. Nice machine.
